EPL: We don’t return evil for evil – Pastor Poju Oyemade reacts to Liverpool win at Crystal Palace

The Senior Pastor of the Covenant Nation, Poju Oyemade has prayed for Arsenal to win at Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.

This follows the action of his unnamed friend, who called to taunt him as Liverpool were losing 1-0 at Crystal Palace in the early kick off.

Oyemade tweeted: “A friend of mine called about 30mins ago to tell me Liverpool was being beaten.

“I was busy studying for our online conference at 7pm but he saw it fit to inform me.

“He is an Arsenal fan. I have since been calling him, but his phone is mysteriously switched off. However, I pray for Arsenal to win today. We don’t return evil for evil 😀”

Mohammed Salah scored his 200th Liverpool goal before Harvey Elliott snatched a 2-1 victory at 10-player Crystal Palace, sending the Reds top of the Premier League.
