The Nigerian Federal House of Representatives sunk to an all-time low on Thursday, June 25. 2015.
Due to a heated disagreement between the lawmakers over the election
of principal officers of the House, the lawmakers went berserk, got
physical with each other, while some even attempted to steal the Mace.
The House was evidently divided and the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, was
apparently at his wits end as he was swarmed by lawmakers loyal to him,
to protect him from those opposed to him.
To say it was a mess and a disgrace would be a gross understatement.
