Newly sworn-in UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has stated that Brexit will ensure that Britain becomes the greatest place on Earth.
His words have been seen as an echo of “Make America Great Again”, a famous rhetoric of US President Donald Trump.
Boris Johnson took over from Theresa May and promised to deliver a Brexit deal with the EU. If such is refused by the EU, he assured that Britain will exit October 31 without the deal.
“Our mission is to deliver Brexit on Oct. 31 for the purpose of uniting and re-energising our great United Kingdom and making this country the greatest place on earth,” Johnson said.
He continued by stating his believe that the UK will be very prosperous by 2050 and going ahead of France and Germany.
Johnson promised British “children and grandchildren will be living longer, happier, healthier, wealthier lives.”
The bold move by the UK PM has been praised by Donald Trump who developed dislike for Theresa May’s approach to Brexit.
