A hit-and-run vehicle killed a man just as it injured another at Okuokoko Community in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.
The incident occurred at about 7:30 pm on Friday at Jesu-Ovie junction, Kemi KKilani News can report.
Accordingly, the victim, simply identified as “Baba”, was crossing the Express road when the hit-and-run vehicle (a white Lexus) knocked him down, leaving his skull open.
The hit-and-run vehicle also injured another who was coming down from his vehicle parked by the side of the road. He has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The President General of Okuokoko Community, Evang. Believe Otatohwoma, who spoke with Our Correspondent, expressed sadness over the development. He said this is a big loss to the deceased’s family, who stays near Jesu-Ovie junction, and the entire Community.
