Nigerians on popular social network, Twitter are heaping praises on the late Head of State of Nigeria, Abacha after the United States of America sent a huge sum of $311m he looted back to Nigeria.
Many on the platform have decided to joke with the whole issue as they have resulted to hailing him on the accounts that they keep receiving the money he looted.
In recent years or months, the Federal Government of Nigeria have kept on receiving from different countries the money late General Sani Abacha looted overseas while he was in power.
Abubakar Malami, Attorney-General of Federation and Minister of Justice disclosed the information about the loot recovery known in a statement released yesterday May 4 by Dr Umar Gwandu his Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations.
According to Malami, the amount skyrocketed significantly from over $308 million mentioned in a prior statement in February to over $311million as a result of the interest that accrued from February 3 to April 28, when the money was transferred to the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Nigerians on the platform have resulted to making jokes out of it.
