In a recent interview, Nigerian singer Tems recounted the story that led to her performing with American singer Justin Bieber on stage at the Coachella show.
Tems said that Justin Bieber had reached out to her, and had said he was in town, and wouldn’t mind joining her on stage. She said her initial plan didn’t involve bringing anyone on stage, and the crowd went wild when Justin Bieber emerged on stage.
Also, Tems said Wizkid joined her on stage because he was also in town, which made her performance at Coachella more epic.
Tems and Justin Bieber were featured on Wizkid’s hit song Essence, and that’s the song that the trio performed on stage at Coachella.
Justin Bieber has been quite supportive of Tems’ career, even posting her album when she teased it, and sending words of encouragement her way.
Wizkid on the other hand got the short end of the stick with Justin Bieber because the American singer accused him of ruining his career.
Justin Bieber made a post/delete post, where he said that he regretted featuring on Wizkid’s song Essence, and that his career hasn’t been the same since the song was released.
There was no response from Wizkid about the matter, even though he was tagged, and that isn’t out of fashion from the singer, since he hardly responds to online banter.
However, recently, Wizkid has been super active on social media, even bragging about opening a church, and calling his fan base a cult.
The singer also clocked a netizen who shaded him for siding with Odumodublvck, who in an interview said that Tems and Ayra Starr were better singers than Tiwa Savag*.
Wizkid also showed some love to Ruger, who seemed really excited, and mentioned that he needed the encouragement he got from the singer.
