It was reunion time for Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro and her US-based ex-husband, Gbenro Ajibade, for their daughter.
Kemi Filani reported a day back that Azariah, the former couple’s child, turned 9, and to celebrate her birthday, the friendly exes had reunited to throw her a party.
In a video posted on Gbenro’s page, he was captured with Osas, their daughter and her friends at her birthday party. The former couple even poses for the camera with the celebrant.
In his caption, Ajibade said they had a blast and her birthday will remain one for the books.
“We had a blast today! Definitely, one for the books. Thankful. Shout-out to all the kids and everyone that came through for @azariahajibade”.

Gbenro Ajibade and Osas Ighodaro married in 2015, welcomed their daughter Azariah in 2016, and parted ways in late 2018.
After their split, Gbenro shaded the actress for her mothering skills. He accused Osas of abandoning their daughter at home to attend night parties and even once sent the baby home to the nanny through a stranger.
On Mother’s Day in 2019, Gbenro threw shots at Osas as he revealed how his friends called to wish him a happy Mother’s Day.
He swiftly moved on from her as he flaunted his girlfriend, a thick, curvy lady, on his Instagram page. Slamming his critics, he noted how they were mad cause he is happy and enjoying himself.
In an interview with Ebuka Uchendu, Gbenro addressed reports that he got married to Osas for a blue passport. He noted how everyone is entitled to their opinions, but he wouldn’t have gone through all that process and spent millions on two big weddings if it were true.
He also spoke on his relationship with Osas, admitting that he tried using all his ranting about her to call back her attention, but unfortunately, decisions were made, and he had to agree with them. He stated that, however, he still has love and respect for her as Osas is a good woman.
