In a recent and surprising development, artist May D and actor Uche Maduagwu have been seen fighting in public.
In a video which has since made its rounds on social media, they are both seen physically engaging in what seems to be a fight. However, a particular man is also seen trying to separate them from the fight.
At some point, Singer May D appears very heated up as he lunges towards Uche Maduagwu. However, netizens could not help but comment on the fact that it could all be staged, especially given Uche Maduagwu’s reputation.
Recalling that back in 2022, Nollywood actor Jim Iyke had gotten into a social media fight with Uche Maduagwu. The video which was shared online saw Jim Iyke barging into Uche’s apartment and physically assaulting him. However, the both came out to reveal that it was all strategic and it was all for promotion reasons.
Jim Iyke explained that it was planned and that he spent over $200 million on promotion for his movie. He also expressed that he would never get into a physical fight like that and he had done it just for clout’s sake.
Also recall that Kemi Filani had reported back in January of 2024 that Uche Maduagwu had disclosed that he had revived Jim Iyke’s career. The media personality in an interview expressed that the stunt had been done to revive Jim Iyke’s failing career.
Also recall that in January of 2024, Uche had knocked Yul Edochie for not comprehending the Igbo culture. Yul had revealed that he did not understand why his ex-wife May Edochie was yet to return the bride price he paid.
However, Maduagwu criticized Yul and expressed that he did not understand why Yul was failing to comprehend the Igbo culture.
He accused Yul Edochie of spiritual confusion. He questioned Yul’s concern about May dropping his last name before the divorce was finalized, as he expressed that there was no legal obligation for a woman to relinquish her ex-husband’s name, especially if that said woman played a major role in building the man’s success.
