American singer Justin Bieber was gushing over Tems’ musical prowess earlier in the day, but it seems that he’s no longer feeling the Nigerian music scene anymore.
The award winning singer took to Instagram to vent out his frustration with regards to his allegedly failing career. In a now deleted post, Justin Bieber stated that he regrets hopping on the remix of Wizkid’s Essence songs, in which Tems was featured.
He said that ever since he hopped on Essence, his career has not been the same. It is a bit tricky to relate Justin Bieber’s career fail to the successful musical hit which was Essence.
After he spoke about his regrets on hopping on the Essence song, Justin Bieber posted a selfie of himself crying.
Wizkid is yet to respond to Justin Bieber, and while that is unlikely because of the singer’s tendency for avoiding online drama, he just might, and this is because Essence was one of Wizkid’s biggest hits in recent times.
Tems may even disagree with Justin Bieber’s discernment because Essence was one of her peak moments in her career, and it skyrocketed her to international fame.
She has had foreign features with musicians like Drake and Future. All the foreign songs Tems featured in were successful, and it all started from Essence.
Recall that recently, Justin Bieber and Tems performed on stage together at Coachella. The closeness between both parties started after they were featured together on the Essence song.
However, it seems that bond didn’t extend to Wizkid, since Justin Bieber called him out for jinxing his career through his song.
On the matter of failing careers, it is a bit tricky to fully evaluate where and when Justin Bieber’s career took a left turn. He has had one of the most successful runs in the history of music, starting from the age of thirteen.
