Ten months ago, at the burial ceremony of late actress Moji Olaiya, her friends and colleagues all promised to give their best to the baby she had before her death. They even promised scholarship and many other eye-popping benefits for the baby.
Surprisingly, when late Moji Olaiya’s baby clocked one last weekend, there was none to celebrate with the immediate family.
Obviously, the late actress, Moji Olaiya’s colleagues who rallied around her family to ensure she got a befitting funeral, courtesy of the magnanimity of APC chieftain, Bola Tinubu, have deserted her family one year on.
The baby that Moji was delivered of before her death in Canada, had a small family party at their Magodo residence and not even Bisi Ibidapo-Obe, Moji’s closest ally and neighbour, was present.
When contacted, Yomi Fabiyi, a very close friend of Moji and one of the members of the burial committee, said himself and his colleagues still remember Moji, howbeit, her family didn’t inform them of the girl’s birthday.
However, Yomi explained if Moji’s mum saw them, she might break down emotionally.
Late Moji Olaiya is the daughter of music legend, Victor Olaiya, the actress died at the age of 42, in May 2017, in Canada where she traveled to deliver her second daughter.
