She went on to narrate that she had grown up in Ibadan, with friends still living there, and that her parents reside in Ibadan. In her caption, she wrote, “The Ibadan explosion breaks my heart. I pray that God brings relief to the city of Ibadan and protects Nigeria generally against another evil occurrence”.
Lilo Aderogba’s post about the Ibadan explosion was clearly a cry for help over the sad situation, and it is clear that her post comes from an honest place of fear, since she has loved ones residing in the bereaved city. She mentioned family and friends, which is enough reason for her to fear for their well-being and safety. While on the topic, she expressed her sadness over the fact that most people were in their houses, where they were meant to be safe, and they still got affected by the explosion. In her closing words, Lilo Aderogba expressed that the people in charge need to take more precautions in order to avoid such an incident occurring again.
