Over one year later, and Hilda Baci is offering the world a rare view into her life after bagging the Guinness World Record for longest cooking hours.
The stunning chef spoke about all the work that went into planning for her very famous ‘cookathon’ challenge that took Nigeria and the entire world by storm.
Hilda Baci said that a friend of hers had advised that she could sit and cook, but she declined, stating that she didn’t want to do anything that would disqualify her from the getting the record.
She went on to say that it would have been easy to relax and do the bare minimum and get famous by simply participating, but she said that she wanted that World Record plaque to be hers because she had a vision.
Going forward, Hilda Baci noted that there’s a lot of stereotypes surrounding women who look like her. She said that a lot of people think women like her have little or nothing to offer, and that’s why she had to work really hard.
Speaking on fame, Hilda Baci said that she utilized it well, but she had to keep her life private so as to maintain a level of peace and protect her brand in the process.
