This year’s edition of Nathaniel Bassey’s Hallelujah Challenge has seen awesome testimonies from members as shared by the gospel musician.
The third edition of the social media praise and worship challenge which had its maiden edition in 2017 saw one participant reveal how she encountered a snake while praying.
One participant wrote:
“I spoke in tongues for the first time during the Hallelujah Challenge, after you called the name of Jesus and asked us to begin to speak in tongues, the Holy Spirit came upon me and I began to speak, i was overwhelmed and began to cry, It was such a beautiful experience”.
Another lady shared testimony of how she got a job.
“Praisesss God…….my name is juliet from London.just after last night prayers I saw myself in the dream carrying heavy load on my head.then of a sudden some came and put down the load but I couldn’t even see the person’s face though when I woke up I said God has answer my prayers.just the morning I got a call that the job I applied for a very long time has been approved that I should start next week my salary is x3 compared to where I was working before.It’s like I’m dreaming oooo.thank you pastor God bless and strengthen more and more”.
Lady excited as she got healed of a suspected STD.
“Good day sir…God is wonderful ..He has done it for me ..last year November I noticed a hard seedlike lumps clustered whitish and very scary always itvjung me in between my thigh and vagina I was so scared cos I’m a pharmacist and that sight was like something viral,I went to meet a gynecologist friend he screamed and said this is herpes I started crying in he’s office meanwhile I said no way God won’t let this happen to me ,I also snapped it and sent to another doctor friend he said the same thing..my nights were shattered and I couldn’t sleep well…I took lots and lots of drugs nothing happened …I went to a friends lab did all d viral test plus herpes n wart I came out negative but this thug was still there ,very itchy ,white ,in clusters and scary …oluwogboboro did it for me last years challenge and without drugs it dried up…I couldnt contend my happiness plus this God is too Good yesterday I cried all through the challenge cos I’m not worthy of He’s mercies…praise Jesus“.
Lady who got scared that she may have a miscarriage shared her testimony:
“Good morning Pastor Nat! May your anointing never run dry in Jesus name, Amen One of my prayer request has been to be blessed with the fruit of the womb, God has answered that prayer and I am 2 days past my due date. I noticed on Sunday I didn’t feel my babies movement, today monday same thing so I called my midwife and she advised I take juice or eat something and lay on my side with my hand on my tummy for 2 hours and if I don’t feel at least 6 movements in 2 hours, I should call back and head straight to the hospital. I didn’t feel the movements and didn’t bother calling the midwife back or rushing to the hospital. I called my husband who is at work and told him I didn’t feel the movements but won’t panic, I told him i would just do my regular walks and then come back to partake in hallelujah challenge as it was 4.30pm my time then, 30mins to Halleluyah challenge and if after Halleluyah challenge no movement, will wait for him to return from work and then we go to the hospital.
“The heavens heard me Pastor Nat, I danced and prayed. After the shout of Jesus, just about 5 minutes to the end of the challenge, my baby moved 7 times in 1 minute. May God’s name be praised. I will be back with my testimony of supernatural childbirth this week by God’s grace. Thank you Jesus, I cannot call on your name and end up in shame. Please share to encourage someone”.
Testimony about an experience with a snake also shared:
“Good evening sir, sure you and your family are blessed. Though am not sure if you will get to read this message as I believed you have a lot of messages each day. I believe the good Lord has used you to deliver me from a bondage through the hallelujah challenge. My self and my husband joined the challenge on 1/2/2020 and as we was praying, I saw a snake 🐍 like it was ready for an attack but I wasn’t scared and I continue to pray until I didn’t see it anymore. But I felt something strange in the right side of my body for a while and it all stopped after the prayer session. Trust me I had a good and pain free sleep which I haven’t had in a while. And I have always been in and out of the hospital for the last 3 years which I also believe has become an history as well in Jesus mighty name. Thank you so much for organising the prayer session, May Lord continue to bless you, your family and strengthen your ministry in Jesus name. Amen”.
