Nigerian music star Davido is undoubtedly a proud father as he reunites with his first daughter, Imade.
The music star, who has been embroiled in a custody battle with his daughter’s mother, Sophia Momodu, since 2022, has finally reunited with his first fruit.
Via his Instagram page, Davido shared a photo of him with Imade posing for the camera and another of them on Facetime with his second daughter, Hailey.
Davido declared it the best day of his life.
“Best day of my life”.
Sophia is currently in a bitter custody battle with her famous baby daddy. In June, last year, Davido filed a lawsuit, demanding joint custody of Imade as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and was extorting money from him, which she denied. A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer is unfit to raise their daughter on his own.
Recall that things turned sour between Davido and Sophia after the singer publicly declared love for his now wife, Chioma Rowland, and reunited with her. This left Sophia infuriated, and she shared a post about a cat not taking rubbish from a dog. She later went on an extensive rant, accusing him of financially abusing her.
