Ex-beauty queen and beauty entrepreneur, Dabota Lawson opened up on her failed marriage to billionaire, Prince Sunny Aku.
In an interview with TVC ‘Your View’, Dabota revealed that her parents were very happy to have her back and didn’t question her over her crashed marriage.
She stated that no one wanted to stress her about it, hence, why they didn’t quiz her about it.
Dabota revealed that her ex-husband reached out to her, admitted his flaws and apologized to her.
However, she has moved past that stage and isn’t emotionally invested in their past life.
“My parents were so happy to have me back, my dad didn’t ask any questions and my mother didn’t…… Nobody really wanted to stress me about it. I just went home and was fine.
He contacted me and apologised for a lot of things but I have moved past that stage. I am not invested emotionally in that place. I was able to forgive and we have been fine since then”.
Recall that Dabota Lawson got married in a talk-of-the-town wedding to billionaire businessman, Prince Sunny Aku. Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last one year, as the couple separated in 2015.

Some years back, the beauty entrepreneur narrated how she suffered after divorcing her billionaire ex-husband, Sunny Aku.
According to the Rivers-born ex-beauty queen, she started her business under the staircase of a mall and her friends mocked her for divorcing a billionaire to sell under the staircase.
She made this known on her Instagram page, as she recounted how she was mocked for not taking anything out of the marriage.
She wrote: ” 5 years ago this was all I had as a business. This little spot under/near the staircase of a mall that so many people used to mock me because to them I just left a billionaire and had nothing to show for it 😂😂 How time flies. Such a humbling period in my life. A real downtime. I don’t need to go into details about where I am today so I don’t get carried away and maybe seem boastful ( you already know 😝). A reminder that no matter how tough it gets, it can get better. Cheers to getting better and doing better. Lots of love to those who have constantly stood by me. God bless you”.

Hinting at the cause of her divorce, Dabota Lawson had called out a former ex-beauty queen for sleeping with her ex-husband.
Taking to her Snapchat account to drag her, she alleged that the lady slept with her ex-husband and had asked her ‘homie’ (close male friend) if he was the father of her daughter.
The controversial divorced queen gave a hint about the lady in question, saying the person blew kisses in the comment section of her Instagram page.
