Nigerian comedian, Bovi Ugboma has slammed his colleague and friend, Bright Okpocha better known as Basketmouth for oppressing his colleagues.
In a viral clip, Bovi made an observation about Basketmouth, stating that the comedian is wicked and fond of sabotaging the careers of others.
Calling him wicked, he added that Basketmouth loves to bring others down as he is a man of peace with a spice of wickedness.
Bovi, however, was clearly joking as he made the statement in a joking manner.
“The most wicked comedian wey dey press other comedian careers down; you’re wicked. Man of peace with a spice of wickedness,” Bovi stated jokingly.
This is coming hours after Basketmouth had tendered a deep apology to his colleagues, Ayo Makun, De Stalker, and others.
In a video on his Instagram page, he apologized to AY for everything he had done or said that had affected him as he called for them to live in peace and harmony.
He also apologized to anyone in the industry who has been offended over time knowingly or unknowingly by his actions.
Recall that for years now, Ayo Makun and Basketmouth haven’t been on good terms over an alleged debt.
AY, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, claimed that their beef originated over N30,000 debt, which Basketmouth refused to pay him, and as such the comedian struck his name from some events.
Basketmouth, however, shut down his claims, as he stated that he and AY have never been friends.
In another interview with Teju Babyface, AY spoke on his failed attempt to reconcile with Basketmouth and revealed that he is done making efforts towards making peace with him.
Similarly, Comedian Destalker recounted how Basketmouth paid him back over a 2015 misunderstanding by sabotaging his shows and calling for his downfall.
Narrating what happened, he claimed that Basketmouth had struck out his name from high places and all his efforts to reach out to Basketmouth had proved abortive.
