Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has narrated her funny ordeal in the hands of an online beggar who saw her as a meal ticket.
In a series of tweets, Lydia Forson expressed surprise at the effrontery of the online beggar who, after getting help from her, still proceeded to ask her to buy him food.
She wrote:
“I hardly speak on the donations I make, but this one over me. One time this guy sent me a dm asking for money for an exam he needed to take. I told him I could only pay for half because I’d just paid for another person’s medical expenses.
“I asked for his information and sent him half the money. A few hours later, he sent me pictures of a receipt.( honestly, I didn’t care because I always give knowing that I can never be sure if people are being genuine).
“The next day he sent me another message that after the exam, he needed to eat; so I should send him some money for food as well”.
