Celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani has caused a stir with birthday photos of popular media personality Denrele Edun.
The fashion goddess had taken to her Instagram page to celebrate Denrele on the occasion of her 40th birthday and share some of the difficulties experienced in planning and creating the choice of outfit.
Toyin Lawani recalled how she and Denrele had been good friends for over two decades. She also prayed for the media personality as he marks the new age.
She wrote: HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY TO A WONDERFUL SOUL MY FRIEND OF OVER 20yrs , course mate and creative mate @denrele_edun , even with the turmoil of planning #theartistandhismuse I had to plan his shoot , create and style it. Few days before my day , thanks to my amazing husband @segun_wealth he got the shots ready on time for today , he was working on the images even through rehearsals etc. Have a blessed day Denrele, he’s always happy and always turning up for his friends , may the good lord keep blessing you.
Reacting social media users pointed out the resemblance between Denrele and Nigerian singer Seyi Shay. Until a close look at the photos, one may argue it is not Seyi Shay.
