Nigerian comedian cum activist Debo Adebayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has disclosed he would rather die than live in fear of police officers who ought to protect the citizens.
In a post shared on the microblogging platform Twitter, the comedian said anytime he sees Nigerians being harassed on the streets by security operatives, he usually stops by to show his solidarity.
He urged the youths to develop this attitude of standing up for each other because the government has failed in its responsibility.
He tweeted: Anytime I go out and I see Nigerians getting harassed by men in uniform, I stop my car, get down and stand in solidarity. Please let us develop the attitude of standing up for one another. The government has failed us. We are all we have.
Reacting, a Twitter user said it’s not easy to challenge some of these security operatives as he shares his experience of being threatened by police who was harassing their driver.

Responding to this, Mr Macaroni shared his experience of being physically, mentally and psychologically abused by men of the union, yet he’s still standing.
He added he would rather die fighting than live in fear of people who ought to protect the masses, urging youths to look out for one another as it’s in their best interest.
He wrote: I have been touched bro! Physically, mentally, psychologically and in every other way you can imagine!! But here I am still standing! I would rather die fighting than live in fear of people that ought to protect us. If we can look out for one another, the better for all of us.
Kemifilani News recalls that the comedian was treated inhumanly with other protesters after he was arrested at the Lekki Tollgate over displeasure with the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry allowing the Lekki Concession Company to reopen the Lekki tollgate.
