The former Queen of the Ooni of Ife, Zaynab Wuraola Otiti has just reacted to the news of her ex-husband’s marriage to a25-year old erstwhile prophetess.
Yeyeluwa in a short statement on her verified Instagram page said that there is grace in forgiveness.
She also congratulatulated the King on his marriage to his new Queen wishing them God’s blessings.
She wrote: “It was once said that there is nobility compassion, beauty in empathy, and grace in forgiveness.
“ Congratulations to the Ooni and his new bride, Shilekunola Naomi Morounke Oluwaseyi. May God bless your union”
Recall that there was criticisms and jubilation over the weekend as the Ooni received his new wife said to be a 25-year-old prophetess at the palace, a day after he marked his 44th birthday.
The palace had in a statement by the Director, Media and Public Affairs of the palace, Comrade Moses Olafare explained that Ooni married the woman because of the spiritual strength she will bring to the kingdom and the fear of God in her.
