Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK) has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of being one of the military officers that plotted the death of General Johnson Aguyi-Ironsi in the northern officers revenge coup of 1966.

52 years ago today Gen. Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi the Supreme Commander of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Col. Francis Adekunle Fajuyi, the military Governor of the old Western Region and 300 Igbo army officers were murdered in the northern officers revenge coup of July 29th 1966.
May their souls RIP.
President Muhammadu Buhari was one of the northern officers that organised and effected that coup. Now that he is President will he apologise for those killings and the role that he played that terrible night?
