Nigerian billionaire, Bola Shagaya has been severely criticized and mocked over an alleged plan to host incoming First Lady, Aisha Buhari to a lavish dinner.
Mrs Buhari is the wife of President-elect, c who was declared winner of Nigeria’s presidential elections on Tuesday, March 31.
Bola Shagaya, one of the richest women in Africa who recently
acquired a private jet, is known to be friends with all the first lady’s
(Mrs Babangida, Mrs Abacha, Mrs Abubakar, late Mrs Stella Obasanjo, Mrs
Jonathan and now Aisha Buhari) and government in power.
Ms Shagaya’s plan was revealed by the London chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) via Twitter, an announcement that sent Nigerian twitter users into a frenzy.
The London APC also urged Mrs Buhari to decline the offer to dine with the billionaire.
